How we got engaged

Tania and Vince's engagement began with a treasure hunt.  Tania awoke to discover a note bedside that wished her good morning and told her it was time for a treasure hunt.  Groggy and confused, Tania was convinced this hunt was to discover the "Candy Apple" shade of nail polish that she was hunting down all week.  Each note led her to a different location in the house; the bathroom, hidden inside a video game, underneath the stove top, etc.  Finally, she came across the last clue that led her to the dining room.  "X" marked the spot throughout the room.  Chairs and napkins were accordingly arranged in an X position.  Entering the room, Tania then found her final note with the treasure.  It was not a bottle of nail polish as she originally speculated but an engagement ring.  This treasure hunt proved to be much more rewarding than she imagined and readily said "yes".
